Kia Forte Koup Type R

In the past, many luxury sports car makers have used the 'R' badge to designate high-performance versions of their vehicles. Following that lead, Kia is exploring the future production of visually appealing body kit upgrades. At the 2010 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the Korean auto maker unveiled the Kia Forte Type R Concept.

Joining forces once again with Kinetic Motorsports (which also worked on the Kia Forte Hybrid Concept), Kia took their all new Forte Koup and added aggressive exterior panels - including front fenders, rocker panels and rear quarter panels.

Kia Sedona Tops Insurance List

There are many reasons to get into a Kia Sedona today - one of those is that Sedona was just ranked at the top of "Cheapest 2010 model-year vehicle to insure in the U.S." list. This according to online insurance comparer InsWeb Corp.

As the report states - The Sedona, a minivan whose 2011 model starts at $24,595 new, tops InsWeb's least-expensive list to insure. Most of the vehicles on the least-expensive list carry high passenger loads.

The 2010 Kia Soul, Kia Motors America's (KMA) value-laden and uniquely styled urban passenger vehicle, recently added another award to its trophy case with Kiplinger's Personal Finance's designation of "Best New Car for Your Teen" for the Soul+ (plus) trim. The award-winning five-door was selected for its "cool factor," wide variety of standard technology and safety features as well as its funky design.

Kia 5-Door Forte Released
