Kia Rio, the small economy class vehicle from the Korean auto maker, has been given one of the top notices from pop culture car nuts at Top Gear USA. The vehicle was chosen, among others, as part of their "Star in a Reasonably Priced Car" portion of the show.

"Star in a reasonably-priced car," segment from the BBC's hit automotive show Top Gear uses  ordinary celebrities and puts them through the Top Gear Test Track, testing their driver skills or driving themselves around in a cheap car.

The 2011 Kia Optima is getting ready to launch late this year. But even bigger news is coming from the Korean auto maker - Optima is going hybrid.

The 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, with sales beginning in early 2011.

The Optima Hybrid should come in around 37 mpg city and 39 mpg highway.

Here's a look at the updated 2011 Kia Sportage. The new Sportage exterior styling big, brutish and athletic. Sweeping curves give way to a newly designed chrome grille, with fierce headlights and taillights, which mix with sharp angles.

The interior is of a similar high quality. Dashboard and isntrument panel are updated and futuristic. Light and signals bleep like the bridge of The Enterprise. Seating serves up room for up to seven with comfort?

It's an exciting time for Kia, the Korean auto maker that has made a big name for itself over the last decade - both in the United States and abroad.
