Kia previously announced it surpassed its best-ever full-year sales total in only 11 months. Now, they've reported all-time record sales of 356,268 units. That's up 18.7 percent over 2009 and a 16.6 percent increase over the annual mark set in 2007.

KMA's sales were led in 2010 by the US-built 2011 Sorento, the brand's best-selling vehicle each month and the first Kia nameplate to eclipse 100,000 units…

Kia's decision to add 1000 new jobs at an auto plant in West Point, Georgia, is having a positive effect on the area. The South Korean automaker started producing the Kia Sorento last year.
