2011 Kia Optima Hybrid

The 2011 Optima Hybrid reportedly receives an estimated 40 MPG highway, and will be capable of driving up to 62 miles per hour when in electric mode only.

Kia Motors has introduced their eye-catching EV, the POP electric car concept at the 106th Mondial de l'Automobile (Paris Motor Show) in France.

The chrome-colored, three-seater POP with its electric drivetrain, oblong-shaped side windows and front-hinged doors took center stage on Kia's Paris Show stand.

Kia Optima Hybrid To Debut in LA

The 2011 Kia Optima is getting ready to launch late this year. But even bigger news is coming from the Korean auto maker - Optima is going hybrid.

The 2011 Kia Optima Hybrid will make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, with sales beginning in early 2011.

Kia Sales Up Almost 50%

Kia Motors is having an excellent year so far.  The Korean auto maker has increased its sales almost 50% from last year.  In Q2 2010, Kia sales were up 61% from Q2 2009.

Based on a shipment volume of 990,000 units, Kia Motors announced its global sales growth of 49.2% in the first half of 2010.
